About Darkman
Sam Raimi's Darkman (1990) was born from the director's frustration at failing to secure the rights to Batman or The Shadow, leading him to create an original superhero who channels the torment of classic Universal monsters. Liam Neeson stars as scientist Peyton Westlake, left horribly disfigured by gangsters and using his synthetic skin research to adopt different faces for his revenge campaign.
