About Jaws 3-D (1983)
Jaws 3-D (1983) capitalized on the early 1980s 3-D revival, moving the action to SeaWorld Orlando where a great white shark becomes trapped in the park's lagoon system. Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jr. lead a cast dealing with both the shark and corporate malfeasance, as park management tries to exploit rather than eliminate the predator. The film was shot using ArriVision 3-D technology, with objects frequently thrust toward the camera in ways that seemed impressive in theaters but appear dated on home video.
